Okay so this will be my last upload as my project is handed in tomorrow. Hope you've enjoyed my photographs, some of them might not have been the most technically perfect, or interesting images but I have learnt that its difficult to take new photographs every single day but its made my 'eye' adjust and I do see photographs most of the time when I'm out and about.

Day Eighty Eight: My friends 20th birthday night out. Taken on a little compact digital camera, not the best quality but its a good memory.

Day Eighty Nine: Thought I'd show you all the camera I've taken most of the photographs on, it might not be the best, and it might not be flashy but its mine and it does a good job. So thats it hope you've enjoyed these.

Day Eighty Seven: Looking out my window and I see two men in orange, Im used to seeing them usually early in the morning or in the middle of the night sorting out that lines. But today I saw the in the afternoon. I always look out my window during the day, even though its not a very interesting view.

Research: Simon Roberts - From the series We English. These photographs are similar to other documentary photographs, i like the height in his work, in some of these photographs he seems to have gotten on a higher level than the people in the picture, I think its an interesting perspective.

Research: Sally Mann - I love her work in general and I like that she documented her family over the years. I haven't taken many photographs of my family but many are pictures of people who mean a lot to me, I have documented some of the people in my life during this project. I just think the style and subject matter really works in her work.

Research: Richard Billingham - These photographs are from the series "Rays a Laugh" documenting his mum and dad (who was an alcoholic) I like these images because they're so raw, its just his mum and dad, as themselves not hiding themselves. They seem so truthful. They haven't directly influenced my project because I haven't really focused on my flat and the people in it. But I just liked his work.

Research: Nick Waplington - I liked these photographs because I liked the colours and the fact that they are simple and observant. I also like that the people in them seem to be unaware that the photographs are being taken. I don't intend to replicate this work in any way because its not something I do in my everyday life. But I just like his style, the way he makes everyday things seem interesting.

Research: John Riddy - although these images don't directly relate to the photographs that I have been taking I liked the idea of documenting different buildings. I have documented different buildings in my everyday life but I think the style is slightly different. But it made me think that photographing buildings could look interesting.

Research: Some more of the research I have carried out throughout this process.

Daniel Meadows: I like these photographs because they are a documentary of people in the streets. Although it doesn't have any relevance with my kind of work that I've taken for my blog, but I just like the idea of documenting people in the streets. They all look so natural in front of the camera as well, they make good photographs.

Day Eighty Six: Breakfast Time.

Day Eighty Five: This is my flats kitchen and its time to cook myself some food. I liked the lighting at the time and I just thought this level worked for this photograph.

Day Eighty Four: I was craving some fresh bread today and I saw this baguette in tesco for 80p, it tasted amazing. The photograph itself isn't fantastic but it represents my day.

Day Eighty Two: A night out to celebrate a friends birthday and this is one of my favourite pictures from the night, Becky just having some fun.

Day Eighty Three: Today I won an award for trampolining, didn't expect to win anything but so proud of myself.

Research: Rania Matar - I looked at her work because she is a modern documentary style photographer. These photographs are from her series A Girl and Her Room, and although these photographs look somewhat staged the girls look relaxed and happy being photographed. I like the style of these photographs. Although they don't directly inspire my work for the everyday, I do like the images and I can see them inspiring future work and I like that its a different style of documentary photography.

Research: Stephen Gill - I looked at his work because he is another well known documentary photographer. I chose a few images from his "Billboards" and "A Series of Disappointments" series. I looked at him again because he is a famous documentary photography and I have seen some of his work before.

Day Eighty One: Saw this on my way to a lecture and it struck me as odd. Its not exactly something you see everyday. I also liked the colour contrast between the bright pink of the balloons and the grey of the pavement and the car they are stuck under.

Research: Humphrey Spender - I looked at his work because he is another well known documentary photographer. I liked these photographs because I thought they documented different things well. I like that he's photographed general everyday things, people shopping and children playing.

Research: Eugene Atget - I looked at his work because he is a famous documentary photographer. He was one of he first people to go out and photograph the streets in the way he did. He inspired my work in the sense that I photograph my everyday life and that includes going through streets to my lectures, or to the shops etc. His work showed me that I could make the streets Im used to walking around interesting.

I particularly like this image as I think the timing is perfect, because I think it shows that everyday life is unexpected.

Thought it was about time I uploaded some of the research I've been doing since the beginning of the project. I've basically looked at a number of different photographers who documented things throughout their photographic career.

Dorothea Lange - I looked at her work because I liked the way she documented people and I think the people in the photographs tell stories.

This of course is probably her most famous photograph called "Migrant Mother". I like this photograph, even though I know how it was created and the amount of time she took the photographs from different angles, I still like it as it still a document/record of this woman.

I like al of these images I think they work really well as documents of the lives she photographs.
